Combo, on Supra Ghetto Bread
September 29, 2006
Hello variety pack of sandwiches. Who needs to make decisions when you can have it all….sans-crust. Thanks Stefan and Patrick for sharing their East Van dining secrets, much appreciated. I will assume that it tasted as good as it looks.
Ingredients 1: Egg Salad with Lettuce
Ingredients 2: Ham and Cheese, with Lettuce
Ingredients 3: Fried Chicken and Lettuce
…all on white bread. Looks like no crust and possibly cut into triangles. Also, one carrot stick and one cherry tomato, for good measure.

Saved, not leftover.

Ummm, I deliberately saved a small protion of my steak from the previous night, to make this tasty creation. Great idea.

Strato’s Ghetto Sammy
September 26, 2006
Damn, I don’t know if they come much more artificial than this….
Ingredients: Looks like only one slice of Bologna and one and a half slices of a Kraft (if you’re lucky) processed cheese. I’m gonna’ go with, dry, between some of the white-Wonderbread-type slices.

Kielbasa
September 25, 2006
The dictionary spelled ‘Kielbasa’ like this, but I still think it’s wrong. They also defined it as Polish and this sausage was definitely Hungarian. I don’t know who’s wrong here.
Ingredients: Hungarian kielbasa, Green Pepper and dijon mustard on a whole wheat bun.

The Sandwich Gods have Spoken
September 15, 2006
Nope, I didn’t eat 4 sandwiches in one day. In fact, I’ve been so busy here at work that I haven’t had time to blog. It’s even been a little upsetting for me. I almost considered ending the site! And then, in walks Strato with an extra sandwich with my name on it. Not just any sandwich, my favourite sandwich of all. A Hot Chicken (Pollo) Torta Sub from Duffin’s on Main. What are the odds, it was like a sign from the sandwich gods. I knew for sure I had to blog this one and I am re-inspired and will continue to share my lunches with you.
Ingredients: Chicken, Avocado, Onions, Tomato, Shredded Lettuce (even the lettuce is great!), Banana Peppers (unless you are Strato…then, no), Mayo on a white bun. Oh, and the chicken is hot so it’s warn deliciousness.

S.S.S.

Goat Goodness
September 15, 2006
This was a creation I put together from an empty fridge. I think I had a pasta with these same ingredients, the night before.
Ingredients: Goat Cheese, Tomato, Spinach, Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil on a multigrain bun.
