A Deluxe Grilled Cheese

June 4, 2006

The thing about a weekend sandwich is the option of using the stove. A hot sandwich is always great, not to mention melted cheese.
I stepped up a traditional grilled cheese. I bought some ‘rosemary ham’ at the deli today and it proved to be a new and interesting flavour for my sandwich. It was nice.

Ingredients: Cheddar cheese, Tomato, Rosemary ham, Mayo, S&P, on 12 grain bread.

I buttered the outside of the bread because I wanted it to be golden brown and because i’m not afraid of butter.

This looks like a great snack for the kids. During our bussy weekends,Between swimming and piano lessions “what is a mom to do”. My husban would love these as well (but he’d have two)Thanks for all your wonderful sandwitch ideas.

A Grilled Cheese should never have tomato! BLT sure you have to have tomato but grilled cheese should be just that cheese melted in between two slices of bread mmmmmmmm.
