I don’t wanna call it a poor man’s lunch…but you sure don’t have to be rich to eat like a king at the Social Custom Butcher Shop. You can share a full focaccia and a bag of chips for $10! I could probably even do with a quarter of this sammy, the way they load it up.

Ingredients: Turkey, Spicy Salami, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickle, Banana Peppers, Aioli and Dijon on Focaccia

Put the chips IN the sammy for a little extra love…

Left-overrrrrs! To me, this sammy is just as traditional as the turkey dinner itself. The only thing different with today’s is that I didn’t get a floury Portuguese bun, they’re the best.

Ingredients: Turkey! Lettuce, Mayo, S&P on a French bun.

Technically it’s a sandwich…

1.  two (or more) slices of bread with a filling between them 

A damn ugly sandwich, but a sandwich none the less.

Ingredients: Love’s Natural Honey (so good!) and Pure Crunchy Peanut Butter on whole wheat english muffin.

What is a heel?

 Ingredients: Smoked Turkey, Cucumbers and Dijon on multigrain.

Then use lots of hot sauce, pepper and mayo.

Ingredients: Tuna, Pickles, Franks Hot Sauce (to taste…then add MORE), Mayo, salt and pepper on whole wheat. Toast the bread for a solid foundation before you put it under the broiler.

My walk back to the office after lunch was a little more fast paced than usual today…

I was suffering from a mild case of hypoglycemia and ready to pound my sandwich purchase…asap! I peeled back the tin foil to reveal the beaut below. Ahhh, a test of patience was presented.  I supressed my starvation and hunted down a camera right away. This hoagie needed to be chronicled…

 Ingredients: Genoa Salami, Swiss Cheese(?), Dijon Mustard, Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion on a multigrain/seed hoagie. Avail to Purchase @ Blake’s in Gastown.
